Who would have thought that clearing out and organizing my house could be so much fun? Sasha has an eye for design and an innate sense of what I would call stylish storage. She helped me to think clearly about what to keep and what to discard so that the daunting task of separation seemed simple. Through some organizing "therapy", she taught me how to continue with the process once she was gone. My furniture, now re-arranged in a more aesthetic manner, my closets and drawers a thing of beauty and I have the comfort of knowing that Sasha is always nearby to help if a new crisis should arrive.

I woke up this morning to find gremlins had moved some of my furniture. Wow! What great ideas. Everything looks new and bigger! I have been living in my apartment with a wonderful view for more than five years. Furniture includes sofas, a dining room table and lovely chairs collected over decades and edited to accommodate several moves to other cities. Initially, I had been guided to just get the furniture in place, live with the set-up for a while and over time tweak the layout. Sasha, who I've admired for decades as she excelled at one career after another, came for a visit and her design skills emerged. Her sense of space is quite extraordinary. Changes: a small move here, adding or eliminating some item there, raising or lowering something else. She can see it and it works!

Sasha has the unique ability to hone in your personal sense of style. She did a remarkable job assisting me in going through my late mother’s designer clothing and accessories. She helped me pick out those that fit my style while helping me move through the process of letting go items that I would not use. She nudged me while always respecting how emotional the process can be.  She then consigned items for me so I would not have to part with them twice. This has left me with items I love and use filled with wonderful memories.

Sasha helped me through various stages of moving and selling my home and moving into a new space.

Helping me purge and organize in preparation for home sale staging and packing/moving process.

  • Consulting with me to ultimately purge approx. 30-40% of belongings including items of financial and emotional value (helping me to sell or helping me to emotionally let go of).

Project managing move-in at our new home

  • Managed movers upon arrival at new home, directing furniture layout and processing boxes upon arrival.

  • Reorganizing kitchen shelf layout and purging unnecessary items so the entire kitchen was organized and settled by the end of our move-in day

  • Was on site for 3 full days, arriving each day with organizational items to best streamline the new space.

  • Returned a month post move in to evaluate how the space was working for my children and I. She then found (and coordinated delivery for) furniture to solve our pending needs. "

Working with clients to downsize and purge belongings based on lifestyle needs specific to life-stage, city living with children. Understanding daily flow and maximizing purpose of each room/storage/living area.  Evaluate closet and personal style items in order to eliminate duplicate items and help with resale/consignment.
As a result of Space Coach Chicago, my home has significantly less clutter and so much wonderful breathing space. I can function more efficiently each day without overflowing closets or cabinets. My style feels more streamlined and complete and I have spent less money on clothing and shoes as a result. My children have room to enjoy their room and living areas and they actually use the toys and books that they have because they can see them all.
Ultimately we feel very peaceful and at home in our new space – nearly every friend that has visited us has complimented that our new home feels much more comfortable than our last. I credit Sasha for helping us feel so cozy here!

I cannot say enough good things about Sasha and how she helped our family through a very difficult time. We engaged Sasha and Space Coach Chicago following the death of my husband's aunt, who had lived in her home for more than fifty years. From top to bottom, it was filled with treasures, books, and more collections than I'd ever seen; the task of clearing it out was daunting, to say the least! Sasha was professional, efficient, thoughtful, and kind. She was clear-eyed, hard-working, and organized; well-connected with area traders, appraisers, charities, resellers (which actually brought income to the estate), and such a gentle, understanding soul in an overwhelming time.

Her meticulous record-keeping has been a tremendous asset to the business of dealing with tax and real estate matters. She worked tirelessly to ship items domestically and internationally to heirs. Her honesty was beyond reproach. In every single way, our family is grateful for knowing her, and for her conscientious care. Although Sasha's work for the trust has ended, we are determined to remain in touch with this very special friend.
